Camila is back to visit us 6 months after having moved back to Spain. She has been frequenting the pintxos bars of her beloved San Sebastian, and comes fresh with new ideas for a Presidents' Day celebrated in a non-conventional way: eating and drinking the Basque way!

Not every eager home cook can devote a whole evening to an in-depth cooking class at our 18th Street Classroom. To help those cooks out, our "Short and Sweet" series asks only two hours from your busy lives to learn something new and have a delicious meal. You'll get to enjoy all the perks of being in our space: meeting new people, learning from our teachers, and walking away with recipes that can inspire future meals.
A hands-on baking class. Class is limited to 12 students. Alongside the tasting of baked goods, a hearty snack of cured meat, cheese, and a seasonal salad will be served with wine and beer. You are also welcome to brown bag an alternative dinner. Bring a sealable container to bring home leftover slices of the baked goods.
