Producer Dinner: Mas de Daumas Gassac

18 Reasons and Beaune Imports are delighted to offer this very special dinner featuring wines from Mas de Daumas Gassac. The first vineyard in the Gassac Valley, near Montpelier in Southern France, was planted by advisors to Charlemange in the year 780. The Guibert family rediscovered the land in 1970 and began planting a vineyard on the advice of a geologist friend who recognized the high quality of the soil in the area. They were lucky to have such a friend!

Tasting Seminar: Slovenia + Croatia

w/ Eric Danch of Blue Danube Wine Company

The wines of Croatia and Slovenia are genuine cultural products that
happen to be delicious. These are wines made as a way of life and the
winemakers can't imagine doing anything else. The most exciting thing
is that we're just getting started discovering these people and
places. Please come and taste a few and armchair travel to where
Žlahtina, Plavac Mali, Teran, Pinela, Babić, Debit and many other
ancient grapes grow.
