Mother's Day Cupcake Bouquet
A hands-on in-person decorating workshop. Hearty snacks will be served throughout class: cheeses, veggies and dips. This class is limited to 14 students. Review our registration and cancellation policies here.
Join Chef Molly to make a Mother’s Day bouquet of cupcakes! We will be baking vanilla cupcakes together, in a recipe that requires no stand mixer or special tools. We will then decorate them with yuzu Italian meringue buttercream made by Chef Molly. Every student will make a bouquet containing 7 cupcakes, 2-3 each of roses, hydrangea, and zinnia along with lots of leaves and buds to pull it all together. You will learn to arrange the cupcakes on a tray and pipe the stems and tie them off with a bow so that you have the perfect centerpiece for your Mother’s Day brunch or celebration of your choice. You'll decorate a couple extra cupcakes, too, for your own enjoyment!
Not only will you leave with a beautiful centerpiece, but the techniques you learn in class can be applied to future cakes! This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate cake decorators. Bring your mom or your mom friends, make them for your mom, or keep them for yourself!
