Challah, Babka, Sticky Buns: Breads to Share
A hands-on in-person cooking class. Alongside the baked goods, a hearty snack of cheeses, veggies and dips, and a seasonal salad will be served with wine and beer. This class is limited to 12 students. Review our registration and cancellation policies here.
Join Jennifer and fellow home bakers to learn how to make a few favorite breads for sharing with friends and family! While you may have tasted these, you may not know that they’re considered “enriched bread.” Enriched breads contain more fat and sugar yet are approachable for the novice baker!
With one recipe, you will learn how to make a luxurious, rich bread dough, then form three types of bread: braided challah, twisted chocolate babka, and gooey pecan sticky buns.
MENU
Challah—A beautifully braided, slightly sweet loaf, rich with eggs typically served at Shabbat and major Jewish holidays
Chocolate Babka—A soft, sweet Jewish loaf loaded with a rich chocolate filling twisted into a rich, decadent loaf, perfect for dessert or an afternoon pick-me-up.
Sticky Buns—A tray of gooey, caramel sweet rolls with pecans
