Drum roll please… Now presenting 18 Reasons’ Teen Spring Culinary Camp! 

All culinary enthusiasts, ages 13-18, are invited to attend the spring edition of our beloved teen camp. Whether you don your apron on the daily or you simply want to make a great burger, this four-day camp is the perfect opportunity to level up your cooking game. Along the way, students will make four nights of meals for themselves and their households while gaining confidence navigating all nooks and crannies of their kitchens.

Our spring camp is designed both for students who have taken classes with 18 Reasons before and those new to the platform, though the skills will be slightly more advanced than the more basic versions we offer.



Day 1: Wednesday 3/31, 4:00 to 6:00 PM PT

Umami burgers* with caramelized onions

Oven fries

Day 2: Thursday 4/1, 4:00 to 6:00 PM PT

Detroit-style pizza* with basil pesto

Greek salad

Day 3: Friday 4/2, 4:00 to 6:00 PM PT

Bibimbap* (Korean rice bowls)

Caramelized blondies

Day 4: Saturday 4/3, 4:00 to 6:00 PM PT

Parisian gnocchi with brown butter peas and asparagus

Where can I join from?

Due to the virtual nature of this class, we welcome participants, ages 13-18, from anywhere in the world! Students will login to Zoom on both days of class where they will cook from the comfort of their own kitchens with a chef instructor and facilitator to support them.

Are ingredients provided?

Pantry ingredient kits (students will need to acquire perishable and fresh ingredients separately) are included in the ticket price ($40), if you are local to the San Francisco Bay Area a kit will be available for pickup prior to class at our location, 3674 18th St, San Francisco, CA, on Monday, 3/29 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. If you are not local or would prefer to procure your own ingredients entirely, you can provide the $40 as a tax-deductible donation or request a refund in that amount. A comprehensive list of ingredients and equipment will be provided to registrants one week prior to class.

How can I register?

To register, select “add to cart” at the top of this page, then proceed to checkout. Registration will close one week prior to camp on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. When registering, it is essential to use an email address that is frequently checked (we recommend a parent or guardian’s), as all class communications will be sent via email.

Do you provide any financial assistance?

We encourage all interested teens to participate! Thus, we are offering full and partial financial aid to eligible participants. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as we have limited scholarship funds.
