Around our kitchen table, we often talk about Food as Medicine (FAM) - one of our free community programs that is close to our heart. This powerful program combines nutrition education with cooking skills, giving Medi-Cal members the confidence to manage their health through food. Participants receive bi-weekly grocery deliveries, join online cooking and nutrition classes, and build lasting communities with peers and medical professionals.

A seated multi-course dinner served family-style. There is no hands-on learning component to this event. We will have wine and beer for sale. Guests welcome to BYOB wine and beer only (corkage is $25/bottle). Review our registration and cancellation policies here.

Bula! Come and enjoy an evening with Fijian food, friends, and Taki!

Bula (boo-lah) is a Fijian word that has a variety of meanings and uses. Its literal meaning is "life," and, when used as a greeting, it implies wishes for continued good health. And Taki is a special means to meet this end.
