Volunteers form an important element of our successful educational programs. We are a small staff and volunteers assist and support our classes every day all around the Bay Area. 18 Reasons has two programs for the public: 18th St. Classroom and Cooking Matters. The volunteer onboarding process, roles and responsibilities, and frequency/timing of shifts are very different for each of the two programs.
