A hands-on class culminating in a dinner served with wine and beer.

Enter Nico’s cocina criolla and celebrate 18 Reasons’ 10th Anniversary with traditional dishes from his native Peru — from the ceviche and lomo saltado beef stir-fry he prepared at his first pop-up dinner at 18 Reasons seven years ago, to the aji de gallina pulled chicken stew that inspired him to become a chef, this class is a culinary journey to his hometown of Lima.

MENU

Anticuchos de Camaron — shrimp kebabs marinated in aji panca
Ceviche — fish cured in lime & hot peppers, with sweet potatoes & cilantro (pictured)
Papa a la Huancaina — potato salad with a spicy aji amarillo sauce
Lomo Saltado — beef stir-fry with onions, tomatoes, and french fries
Aji de Gallina — pulled chicken stew with an aji amarillo sofrito base, served with steamed rice and salad
Suspiro Limeño — manjar blanco caramel topped with meringue
