This is a very special dinner and conversation. Nico Vera, our resident chef and expert in Peruvian cuisine, will be joined by his mom, Sara. Together they will prepare a traditional Peruvian criollo menu that will be served family-style. Sara will sit amongst diners to share stories and memories of the food and food culture of her youth in Lima during the 1940’s and 50’s.

MENU

Papa a la Huancaina — a potato salad with spicy and creamy aji amarillo sauce
Sudado de Pescado — whole steamed fish with aji amarillo, onions, tomatoes, and a side of rice
Mazamorra Morada — a sweet purple corn pudding spiced with cinnamon and cloves
