Sam is happiest when he's behind the stove feeding guests, and we are thrilled to offer this special experience to 18 Reasons members. Join your fellow members for an evening of great food, scintiallating conversatinon, and the chance to connect with neighbors and other 18 Reasons members. 

Sam will cook a three course family-style meal reflecting his personal culinary journey, and join the group for conversation about his love of good food, the history of Bi Rite, and a playful look into the magic of 18th Street. Bi Rite is celebrating its 75th anniversary on 18th Street this year - a lot has changed in the past three quarters of a century, and Bi Rite has led the way, evolving from a corner store to one of America's most celebrated grocers. 

Get to know the 18 Reasons community and take a spin through our very local history as seen by a former six-year-old grocery clerk and current "Mayor of 18th Street."
