In a time of widespread political uncertainty and apathy toward government, participating in elections has never been more crucial. With the general election just a month away, Feed the Vote invites you to 18 Reasons to get registered to vote, pledge to turnout in November, and engage in a thoughtful dialogue about barriers to political participation for communities of color in San Francisco. Over a delicious Asian meal cooked by one of 18 Reasons' beloved chefs and instructors, Linda Tay Esposito, we will discuss how we can foster a culture of active voter participation.

We encourage you to bring classmates and family members of all ages to create an intergenerational conversation!

Linda Tay Esposito is a self-taught chef whose food represents a tribute and a commitment to the authenticity of the cuisines of the Pacific Rim. She grew up in Malaysia, lived in China and Hong Kong and traveled extensively in the region exploring the vast culinary offerings and traditions, and capturing the essence of the local cuisines. OCA-San Francisco mobilizes around local community issues in San Francisco to advance the social, political, and economic well-being of all Asian Pacific Americans (APAs). We bring awareness to several matters that impact local APAs which include: inclusion and empowerment, leadership development, youth advocacy, space, and resources.
