A smorgasboard brunch (not a hands-on class - like a community dinner, for brunch!). BYOB.

Brunch is the perfect meal to gather around, especially if you prefer slippers to heels and a well-worn t-shirt to a little black dress. Brunch can start anytime, end anytime, and expand to fill an entire afternoon if you let it. Brunch can feature any food, from a classic frittata to a fragrant curry (stay tuned for our Punjabi Brunch this fall!). For parents, brunch might even be the new dinner.

As we close in on the recipes, photos, and stories that will fill the pages of Feed Your People, we have a collection of fantastic brunch recipes we'd love to make for you. In the final stages of testing recipes, we're making bigger batches than we can eat ourselves - that's where you come in! These recipes come from some of our favorite chefs, and represent foods they love to gather around. Come, eat, let us know what you think, and enjoy a relaxing Sunday with friends.

ABOUT FEED YOUR PEOPLE

FYP Slider.jpg

Feed Your People is a community-based cookbook created by local author Leslie Jonath, with recipes for crowd-pleasing, big batch cooking from warm-hearted cooks, chefs, and grandmas for the foods we gather around--from backyard barbecues and soup suppers, to hand-wrapped tamales, dumpling dinners, and seafood boils.  Whether for a family reunion, a DIY wedding, holidays, memorials, non-profit fundraisers or a neighborhood block party, this book will inspire you and make cooking for your community a delicious, affordable, fun, memorable feast. Feed Your People will be published in September, 2017 by Powerhouse Books. Click here to learn more.
