Jaime Tjahaja is a local chef who has cooked and staged at many local Bay Area establishments including: Lazy Bear, Izakaya Rintaro, and Chez Panisse. With influences that draw from every corner of the globe, his culinary style brings together a wide range of interests. Inspired by local purveyors and farmers, he enjoys showcasing the amazing products available to Bay Area chefs. He can be found playing bluesy slide guitar and foraging for wild mushrooms when not cooking for private clients or local startups.

Mike Ortiz, the native Angeleno, realized that his passion for cooking was strong while cooking for his friends during his time in the San Jose State University dorm rooms. Preparing a variety of savory quiche from scratch earned him notoriety throughout the entire campus. It was then that Ortiz realized he'd pursue his culinary dreams of being a great creator.  Ortiz has quickly created a steady buzz around his name due to working in some of the Bay Area's most prestigious kitchens (TBD, Boxes and Belles, Bar Tartine). Mike is heavily influenced by the Spice Trade food culture familiar in the West Indies region, as well as traditional Indian cuisine. With that said, Ortiz has gathered a plethora of recipes and methodology from his Panamanian grandmother.  Because of his heritage, Ortiz is slowly mastering Panamanian/ Central American cuisine with plans of bringing his versions of the spice-heavy dishes to the people of the Bay Area.  Mike Ortiz is known for his electric personality that jumps out at you as soon as you meet him, part of what makes him the most lovable person in every kitchen.
