A four hour hands-on cooking class culminating in dinner served with wine and beer.

Opening the fridge and thinking "What's for dinner?" can invite anxiety and tempt you to frozen meals or the phone to call for delivery. This class will teach basic techniques to build your confidence as a home cook and bring satisfying dishes within an arm's reach. Jaime Tjahaja will share the tips and tricks of making a vinaigrette, handling and roasting chicken, seasoning with spices, the importance of salt, and how to taste often and balance flavors. He'll share his favorite pantry items and what produce pushes him to keep exploring in the kitchen and he'll inspire you to do the same.

MENU:
Little Gem Salad with Fennel, Winter Citrus, Pistachios and Honey Vinaigrette
Jaime's Famous Crispy Butterball Potatoes with Calabrian Chile Aioli
Roasted Chicken Al Diavolo with Green Garlic Salsa Verde
Pink Lady Apple Hand Pies with Bi-Rite Creamery Ice Cream
