The class ideas listed above are suggestions. For example, you do not have to spend $75 gift card toward an online class, rather you can spend the gift card toward any event posted on our calendar. We do not currently have the option for guests to buy a custom amount besides the denominations listed above (though it is something we hope to have in the future).

Any gift card can be used toward purchasing any 18th St. Kitchen ticket sold on 18reasons.org, for both online and in-person events. 

Gift card revenue and membership dues both help fund 18 Reasons' free community programming. We offer three, multi-week cooking and nutrition education programs across the Bay Area - your support helps families buy, cook, and eat good food on a limited budget. 

Gift card refund policy: All 18 Reasons gift card purchases are non-refundable as of 3 business days after purchase. If you have purchased a gift card and are unable to use it, consider gifting it to a friend or converting your gift card purchase into a donation. Donations to 18 Reasons are tax-deductible. Contact info@18reasons.org for next steps to convert your gift card purchase into a donation or requesting a refund. If a refund request is sent within 3 business days of purchase, we can offer a refund, less a nonrefundable 4% payment processing fee. (You can see all our registration policies here).
