Private and Corporate Events
Private Parties
In-Person Private Parties are limited to 14Â guests in a cooking class, 30 guests for a seated dinner, and 45 people for a meeting.Â
With long wooden tables, a marble and iron bar, a cookbook library, and food-themed art, our classroom offers a beautiful setting for your group. Your rental of our 18th Street Kitchen includes staff, use of our furnished classroom, access to a gender-neutral restroom, our projector, Wi-Fi, and sound system. Our alcohol license allows only beer and wine to be served.

Private Cooking Class
Our Chef Instructors offer private cooking experiences for friends, family, or colleagues. Classes are capped at 14 guests and run 3.5 hours including dining time.
Rental includes: our classroom and staff, a cooking lesson with ~4 menu items, ingredients from Bi-Rite Market, and 2 glasses of wine per guest.
Pricing:
- Base fee: $2,500 + $110/person
- Additional time: $90/half hour
- Rush fee (booked within 21 days): +5%
- Holiday surcharge (Nov–Dec events booked after Sept 1): +10%
- Service charge: 18%
Private Dinners
Let us handle everything from start to finish. One of our in-house chefs will work with you to design and prepare a custom menu for your occasion, with exclusive use of our dining room for 3 hours. We typically serve family-style, but can also accommodate buffet and standing reception formats. Private dinners are limited to 32 guests.
Rental includes: our 18th Street Kitchen classroom, chef, staff, a custom menu, and ingredients from Bi-Rite Market. Guests are welcome to bring wine or beer (no spirits; no corkage fee).
Pricing:
- Base fee: $3,000 + $120/person
- Rush fee (booked within 21 days): +5%
- Holiday surcharge (Nov–Dec events booked after Sept 1): +10%
- Service charge: 18%
Party & Meeting Venue
Capacity: 45 peopleÂ
Room rental only; it does not include the food, beverages, or the use of kitchen equipment.
Parties: ideal for birthdays, baby showers, and other family milestones! 3-hour minimum, includes two staff members. Daytime event prices start at $1400 (must end by 3 pm). Evening event prices start at $2250 (must end by 11 pm). Â
Meetings: ideal space for meetings, co-working, wine or food tastings, and team-building retreats. Rental from 8am-4pm, includes one staff member. Price: $2200.
For events occurring in Nov-Dec, events booked after September 1st will incur a 10% holiday surcharge.
An 18% service charge will be added to the invoice.
Online Classes
An instructor will help you create a menu, and we’ll send a shopping list one week before class so guests can shop in advance. On class day, you’ll receive a recipe packet and Zoom link to join. The instructor will lead your group through the recipes with support from a facilitator. After cooking, you’ll have time to enjoy the meal and connect with your team or friends.
- $1700Â for up to 20 screens. Additional $250 for more than 20 screens. Note that we use "screens" instead of participants. We encourage people in the same household to tune in on one screen and cook together.
- For classes requested within 21 calendar days, a 5% rush fee will be added.
- For private classes occurring in Nov-Dec, events booked after September 15th will incur a 10% holiday surcharge.
- An 18% service charge will be added to the invoice.
