18 Reasons Gift Card

Gift cards make great presents - delight your friends and family with the gift of home cooking when you give them an 18 Reasons Gift Card or Gift Membership! The suggested denominations below allow you to purchase with a culinary experience in mind. 

Choose from these pre-set amounts and buy your gift today:

$75 gift card. Fits one of our online classes. One ticket allows for one device to login to Zoom, so a family or household can participate together.

$115 gift card. Fits our most popular class, Basic Knife Skills. It's great for beginners.

$205 gift card. This is a common ticket price for hands-on cooking classes, ranging from cooking fundamentals to cuisines around the world.

We have the same amounts doubled, in case you are gifting the card to multiple people.

The class ideas listed above are suggestions. For example, you do not have to spend $75 gift card toward an online class, rather you can spend the gift card toward any event posted on our calendar. We do not currently have the option for guests to buy a custom amount besides the denominations listed above (though it is something we hope to have in the future).

Any gift card can be used toward purchasing any 18th St. Kitchen ticket sold on 18reasons.org, for both online and in-person events. 

Gift card revenue and membership dues both help fund 18 Reasons' free community programming. We offer four, multi-week cooking and nutrition education programs across the Bay Area - your support helps families buy, cook, and eat good food on a limited budget. 

Gift card refund policy: All 18 Reasons gift card purchases are non-refundable as of 3 business days after purchase. If you have purchased a gift card and are unable to use it, consider gifting it to a friend or converting your gift card purchase into a donation. Donations to 18 Reasons are tax-deductible. Contact info@18reasons.org for next steps to convert your gift card purchase into a donation or requesting a refund. If a refund request is sent within 3 business days of purchase, we can offer a refund, less a nonrefundable 4% payment processing fee. (You can see all our registration policies here).
