Join 18 Reasons & friends for our fourth annual Cooking Matters Brunch at Oakland's Humanist Hall! This fun, family-friendly event brings together volunteers, graduates, and supporters of the Cooking Matters program for a morning of delicious, home-cooked food and inspiring stories from the Cooking Matters program. Get to know our Hall of Fame volunteers (who have each taught 15 Cooking Matters series!), meet our teen peer educators, and win amazing prizes in our raffle.
Our staff will prepare a delicious savory bread pudding*, a simple green salad, and seasonal fruit, and we will serve coffee, tea, and mimosas. Join the party!
