A hands-on in-person cooking class culminating in a dinner served with wine and beer. This class is limited to 14 students. See our registration policies here and our rules for in-person events here.

One of the hallmarks of traveling to Mexico City is the rich street food culture. In this cooking class we will make crunchy Tacos de Canasta (basket tacos) filled with potato and carrots and creamy salsa de aguacate to drizzle on top. Then, we’ll make milanesa, that is a cousin to a schnitzel or chicken fried steak—in Mexico City, the Torta de Milanesa is iconic and you’ll devour this sandwich. We will finish with Dulces de Camote, chewy sweet potato candies that originate in Puebla. Dining together, we'll enjoy each other's company and share memories or future hopes of traveling to Mexico City!
