2019 Summer Camps

This summer, we are partnering with Simran and Stacie of A Little Yumminess to offer five sessions of youth camp. Many of our members have taken a class about Indian cuisine with Simran and Stacie at our 18th St. Classroom, and we're happy to introduce you and your youth to their longstanding summer programming, featuring some familiar faces of 18 Reasons' instructors.

To register for this week of camp, please visit A Little Yumminess's website (click here)

Session 3: A Week in France with Chef Zoe McLaughlin

Date and Time: July 8-12, 2019, 9 am-3 pm

Age Group: Entering 5th-9th grades

Travel around France without leaving San Francisco! Guest instructor, Zoe McLaughlin will take campers on a culinary journey through France. Campers will explore the French table, learn essential cooking skills, and gain an appreciation for French culinary heritage and traditions along the way. This camp will be taught by Chef Zoe along with support from Simran & Stacie and our A Little Yumminess team.

Please contact us to work out details should you need to cancel anytime. To cancel from Session 3 of 2019 Summer Camp, email Simran and Stacie at alittleyum@yahoo.com.

Zoé McLaughlin was born in Paris and raised in San Francisco. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and worked in restaurants in France while she wrote and published her first cookbook – a collection of family recipes influenced by her multicultural upbringing.  She now lives in San Francisco, where she works in the non-profit culinary world and hosts online cooking demonstrations.  She has a passion for bringing together the diverse flavors and culinary traditions of the Bay Area with the time tested techniques of classical French cooking.
