18 Reasons is partnering with fellow non-profit La Cocina to offer you a regular night market! On the last Saturday of each month, our 18th Street event space will feature four food entrepreneurs, selling their prepared foods in hopes of connecting with their community and growing their businesses (and having a kick ass Saturday night to boot!). All of the profits go directly to La Cocina vendors; 18 Reasons will sell wine and beer. This event is drop-in only.

Here's the line-up for January through April, which features warming comfort foods from around the world:

El Pípila
Guadalupe makes traditional food from Guanajuato, and she has recently gotten some very good attention for her very good food (Jonathan Kauffman's piece is here)!
Green Pozole $10
Sope with Chips & Guac $10
Chips & Guac $6

Rasoi
Heena started Rasoi to turn her 30 years of passion for cooking up traditional dishes from her native home of Gujurat, India into a business, bringing the flavors of western India to America. Come to Rasoi to taste a whole new side of India cooking!
Gota Pockets: Crispy gram flour and fenugreek leaves pakoras filled in pita served with cilantro coconut chutney; a specialty of Dakor, a village in Gujarat. $5 / 2 or $8
Rose Lassi: Drink for yogurt lovers! Churned yogurt with rose, a favorite flavor of her childhood. $3
