We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Chef Paulette to our teaching team. When they are not busy running their beloved Vietnamese cafe in Fruitvale (3 Bottled Fish, recently rated as one of the best 100 restaurants in the bay), they love to teach and share their culture. The dishes Chef Paulette will share in this class cannot be found at your average Vietnamese restaurant. These are homestyle dishes, beloved in the comfort they give and rarely known by those who have not spent time in Vietnam. In this class students will learn about ingredients they may never have encountered before - morning glory, special Vietnamese squash and more! Balance flavors and textures at the table with these homestyle dishes that highlight a communal way of eating together, because at the end of the day, who you eat with is just as important as what you're eating.
