Join Cookinn Taiwan founder and cookbook author Chelsea Tsai for a fun, hands-on class celebrating the comforting flavors of everyday Taiwanese food. This menu offers a warm and delicious introduction to Taiwanese food culture, from home kitchens to night market favorites.
Together, we will make Lu Rou Fan, a savory braised pork rice bowl; crispy Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken with basil and white pepper; refreshing Smashed Cucumber Salad; and Pineapple Cakes, one of Taiwan’s most beloved pastries.
Along the way, you will learn about essential Taiwanese ingredients and cooking techniques, and hear the cultural stories behind each dish. At the end of class, you will enjoy the meal together and leave with the confidence to make these dishes at home.
