Assistant Program Manager: Nourishing Care Pregnancy Project

The 18 Reasons Assistant Program Manager is a caring and creative solution-oriented person that leads workshops and manages program logistics for our Healthy Pregnancy Project. You are passionate about working with community members to improve health and birth outcomes for low-income BIPOC parents.

We are looking for an individual who will work with our team to design and implement a year-long support program for pregnant and newly post-partum BIPOC Families. This person cares deeply about serving the community, works collaboratively, and is committed to high-quality work.

About us: 18 Reasons is a nonprofit community cooking school based in San Francisco. We offer free cooking and nutrition classes to low-income families throughout the Bay Area, and host nightly paid cooking classes in our classroom on 18th Street in the Mission. All classes will be held virtually until the COVID crisis enters phase four (no restrictions on activities). Healthy Pregnancy is a new initiative that pairs free cooking and nutrition classes with weekly grocery deliveries throughout pregnancy and the early postpartum period.
