A two-hour tasting seminar of six wines, served with crackers to cleanse the palate. We highly recommend eating a heavy snack or meal before arriving.

Join us for a walk "off the beaten path" through Sonoma County wine with Zack Robinson, Winemaker at Mudita Wines. One of California's most prestigious wine regions, Sonoma County possesses an incredibly diverse set of microclimates and varietals. However, for wine lovers living outside of county lines, the selection of wines are reduced to only a handful of offerings which rarely offer a hint at the breadth and depth of what exists. This tasting will focus on those truly wonderful wines and give background on them, as well as the wines of Sonoma County as a whole. We'll taste through the hidden gems of Sonoma County including wines from microwineries, emerging growing regions, rarely seen grapes, and the truly obscure.

Zack Robinson is the Winemaker and Co-Owner of Mudita Wines, a microwinery in Sonoma County.  Zack has worked in the wine business for over 15 years and has made wine both home and abroad. He began his winemaking career while still in school at UC Davis, working several harvests in Napa. When he finished his Masters degree, he left to work overseas in Portugal and Australia. After that, he settled in Sonoma County to make wine from the region he grew to love, making wine at several amazing wineries. In 2011, he co-founded Mudita Wines with a focus on small lot, single vineyard wines, making award-winning Syrah and Cabernet Sauvingon.
