A hands-on workshop with light snacks (nuts, dried fruit) and a glass of wine. Guests are also welcome to BYOB (nothing hard, please) and to brown bag additional food.

Learn to make a wrapped summer floral bouquet full of edible & dyeable stems. In this special combo workshop taught by Lorena Cortez, she will guide you through making your very own naturally dyed silk handkerchief. Lorena will go over the materials one needs to dye at home & which stems you can forage locally. As the dye is setting, she will cover how to make a sweet nosegay bouquet. The foliage & flowers we use will either be edible or could be used for dyeing, in addition to beautiful! You will leave this class with two colorful projects, a handout, & plant wisdom.

All supplies will be provided. Each student will leave with a plastic baggie to hold their dyeing project and a bouquet wrapped with twine.
