Petal Trails

Carina Garciga & Sarah Harf

January 7th to April 7th 2017

Petal Trails is the creative endeavor of Carina Garciga & Sarah Harf. They believe people become more inspired when they can access nature throughout their day. They preserve live plants and flowers in large-scale works of art through techniques of drying and poured soy wax.  Working together, they carefully lay out the plants layer by layer in intricate compositions. The energy emanating from these vibrant works will enliven any space, private or commercial. Their finished work requires no maintenance and humans can still receive the same benefits as if they were live plants or flowers. Most recently, they sold their largest piece to a Real Estate Company in New York.  They are excited to showcase their latest work here at 18 Reasons. Each piece represents a unique beauty and evokes its own energy.
